Whale Invests $285 Million in Ethereum
A significant investment has been made in Ethereum as a new wallet has withdrawn a substantial amount of 60,000 ETH (equivalent to $284.76 million) from Coinbase Prime to start staking. This move indicates a long-term commitment to the cryptocurrency.
Details of the Transaction
Out of the total amount withdrawn, 3,200 ETH (approximately $14.75 million) has been distributed to four different wallets. Interestingly, one of these wallets has already initiated the staking process on Coinbase’s platform.
This influx of fresh capital into Ethereum, coupled with the decision to lock it up for staking, is seen as a bullish signal for the future of the cryptocurrency.
